PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN (Part Time) Orange22 is looking for a part-time, dynamic college junior to support the Public Relations and Marketing areas for our Botanist brand. The ideal candidate must have excellent writing skills and a sense of humor that can be projected on writing. Witty candidates are encouraged to apply. SENIOR SOFT GOODS DESIGNER (Freelance Project) Orange22 recently licensed its patent pending "Grid-It Technology" to "Cocoon Innovations" a sister company of DMC. The Senior Designer's role is to develop an entire line of soft goods products ranging from laptop sleeves, back packs, ipod holders, to cosmetic cases - all of which will leverage this new "Grid-It Technology". You will work very closely with the inventor / founder to quickly realize your designs and get them ready for global production. Travel to China will be mandatory. This is a quickly paced assignment,with lots of travel. Skills/Experience +Highly knowledgeable with soft goods manufacturing technology and relevant materials including EVA, thermo forming, stamping, etc. +Keen understanding of relevant materials and their performance characteristics. +Excellent communicator and big picture thinker. +Understanding of various market sectors and designing for relevance. +Ability to manage others including Jr. Designers, assistants and factory production team. Work on a wide variety of projects and experience many aspects of the design and realization process. Minimum internship durations are 3-4 months. Must be proficient in CAD and 3D modeling and be able to handle high-levels of responsibility. If you consider yourself timid this is not the place for you.
