FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Far west on Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica California you can find a bit of Eastern Zen at Byu-ti a new salon designed by Orange22.
(pronounced beauty)
The Byu-ti mission is to give goodness through great service and wholesome custom-blended products. Byu-ti creator Natasha Sunshine wanted an environment that made a dynamic statement while highlighting the custom Byu-ti bar aspect of their business. More than a salon, she wanted to provide an experience for her clients.
In fulfilling the Byu-ti mission, designer husband Dario Antonioni of Orange22 created a space that felt feminine, refined, and whimsical to reflect the concept’s originality.
The space was kept spacious, white and dark wood laminates play up contrast, botanical graphics reflect the wholesome ingredients in Byu-ti products and bits of pink dispersed throughout give the space a fun splash of personality.
As clients enter the space a custom “mantra wall” welcomes them. Clients can’t help but read the many quotes that have inspired the salon owner and serve as additional reminders to the staff that “giving goodness” is what Byu-ti is all about.
Unique to the space is the Byu-ti Bar, where clients have their own custom blended products created for them. Interactive and individualized, the Byu-ti bar lets the client be treated exclusively.
Natasha Sunshine commented, “Orange22 was attentive and creative beyond our expectations. They listened closely to our needs and more than exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with the space and feel that ‘our story’ is poetically told throughout the retail and service client experience.”
